Does anyone know what the rules are about purchasing the extended warranty w/ADH from a third party?

    For example:
If I purchased a Vaio from newegg, it comes with the standard 1 yr warranty.

If I purchased the 2 or 3 year extended w/ADH from either them or somewhere else, can I apply it to that Vaio?

Yes you can, at least that's what I've read on this forum. So long as you buy a genuine Sony warranty and not third party cover, you just need to phone Sony when you get the warranty through and register your warranty+laptop with them.
