    Extended battery is worth adding in FW190?

    Is adding Extended battery instead of Standard battery gives much extra life like more than 4 hrs? I am ordering CTO FW190 and since dedicated graphics card is there, I am adding Extended battery for $100 more. If its of not much of gain in life of laptop, please suggest. Thanks.

    ok to see if its worth it to you... do some simple math: here's how I did it when deciding on the ext. batt for my SR:

    Take the amount of time in minutes of how long the standard battery lasts for you:

    ex: 100 Minutes (1.7 hours).

    The standard batt is 6 cells, so.... 100/6= 16.67 minutes of life per cell.

    The extended battery is 9 cells... so... 16.67 X 9= 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of life for the extended battery.

    so...from this example, I would get nearly 1 hour more of life for 100 dollar upgrade... is this worth it? Up to the buyer. Some people need every minute they can so.....

    I think its worth getting as long as you dont mind the extra lump at the back of your laptop. Believe the ext battery is larger in size
