    Hi,

I have Sony Vaio Z11 and I need to buy an external screen and keyboard. Can I power up the laptop without open the lip and without docking station? Thanks for all hints!

    Best Regard

Well, you need to hit a button to power the notebook up...

So with the lid being closed and having no docking station...if you don't have access to the power button, you cannot power up the laptop.

Does your Vaio come with any remotes?

I start mine up using the expresscard remote that came with.

The TZ series dont boot up when pressing the power button (is on the side) with the lid closed. But since you already own the device, just try it? If it doesnt work without a screen and keyboard attached it probably also wont work when you attach those devices.
