    F13 or F22 2nd gen dilema

    So do I go with the older F13 with a better display or the F22 with 2nd gen but basic screen. Any opinions on this, is the 2nd gen worth the extra cash and downgrade on screen?

    I think F2x design is quite appealing, so if I wouldn't have any F series I would go for new one.

    Thanks for a reply, that's not a huge deal breaker really so long as it's nothing too ugly :) Obviously a nicer design would be preferable but with my budget I'm more concerned with the choice of display and spec.

    From a 16" laptop, battery life would not concern me... as for the display, that's VERY important for me. And so, i'd go with the F13. As for the RAM, is that you upgrading it to 6GB? if so, save your money and downgrade back to 4GB and upgrade yourself (8GB DDR3 1066 MHz is <$50 on our side of the pond).

    personally i wouldn't consider any laptop > 14" that doesn't have 1080p...
