    Does the laptop with 7600go chip have dvi out? Or do I need to buy the docking station?

    Unfortunately it does not have DVI.

    that really sucks... i would have bought it if only it had dvi.

    Unfortunately very few notebooks under 17" have DVI right now. A DVI requirement will severely limit your choices.

    DVI = Digital

    DVI means on a good quality LCD or Monitor, it will show a image the way it suppose to be..Its digital! It will not lose color information or or degrade the picture quality from Digital = ANALOG (vga) conversion for a standard monitor...
