    Hi,

I just got myself an FE790. However, pressing fn+f5 doesnt lower the brightness? This is bad since the screen hurts my eyes at max brightness. Anyone know if I am missing any software?

i thought you should go to Sony Esupport, download EventService/Notebook Utility/Notebook DLL Shared/ ... and install. you may go to update category or O/s migration if u re using vista ^^

that wont' work, i always have the same problem after reinstalling windows (which i have done some 7 times :D), and my S1, S2 keys don't work either. Anyway, it's no big deal. Their esupport sucks, full of out-of-date drivers.
Oh, by the way, when i use laptopvideo2go drivers (97.44 and 97.92), i can't change brightness either, if that's your case, just install the stock driver for video card
