    Hi,

I just did a clean install to Windows 7 professional 64-bit from Windows vista home premium 32-bit as my laptop is capable of running 64-bit version of windows.

However, i completely wiped out my drivers for my sony buttom functions such as the utility button for FN keys and also control centre, power management, event service and etc.

I have went to the Sony Europe esupport to get the drivers. Is there a particular order I need to follow while installing them since I read from somewhere that you need to install the drivers in a particular order for them to work since they are dependent. Also, many threads say to install the 'sony DLL utilities' or 'original utility package' file which does not apply to my Sony Vaio version. However, I did notice 'setting utility series' folder in the download driver section. Are they the same?

    Thanks

    I have resolved the problem.

I just installed from the European esupport driver download page after doing windows update which included a Sony Firmware Extension Parser.

    1) Setting Utilities Series
    2) VAIO Control Center
    3) VAIO Event Service (reboot)
    4) VAIO Power Management (reboot)
    5) Sony Shared Library (reboot)

My av mode button does not work but I don't use it anyway.
