There are so many post but none for the FW490. Has anyone downgraded and successfully been able to get their FN keys working, particulary the ones to control the brightness?

    64 bit XP Professional specifically

I can't even get the FN keys to work with FW190 with XP 32 bit and that is with drivers and utilities provided by Sony for FW190. You must use 3rd party Power Management to control the brightness but even with 3rd party utility, the FN keys can not be used to control the brightness. You have to adjust the brightness within the Power Management software.
