    im having problem with the FN keys coz i formatted the hdd n installed XP
    is there a software to this or what should i have to do
    all help is appreciated please help me out.

    The FN key always works.
    If you are talking about the special functions [LCD brightness,etc], you'll have to install the ACPI drivers for the laptop.
