    FS Burner Issues

    I have been trying to burn a few dual layer discs in my FS burner recently. 3 out of 5 have failed in the burn process. I now notice that I cannot burn normal DVDs at a faster rate than dual layer discs. (2.4x) I'm pretty sure this burner was supposed to be 8x and has worked at that rate in the past. What could be going wrong?

    Are you getting an error message. What drive is it? I would try some different discs. Taiyo Yudens are considered to be the best blanks, both CDs and DVDs.
