Does anyone in any other countries around the world have this problem before?
The back 2 rubber feet of my FS vaio has become unattached and I can seem to find anything thin and strong enough to put them back. I called the local Sony Australia and they said each feet is going to cost a bloody AUD$45 (roughly $30USD) each to replace. Are they that expensive in other countries too????
I also broke the screen latch again for the 2nd time. First time in Japan they replaced it FOC but Sony Australia is charging $180AUD to fix it. They say they are putting strong ones in but that is yet to be seen. Are they that expensive overseas too?

$45 AUD?!? That's robbery, pure and simple...
I was considering a Sony FE18GP until I saw the prices on their accessories... $450 AUD for a dock/port replicator, $600 AUD for a replacement 9-cell battery... WTF?
Pity, since the FEs are such a nice machine, but I refuse to deal with a company that chooses to gouge it's customers like this. -
It happened the same. I got the most incredible glue, capable of sticking together the most unbelieveabe surfaces but it failed. The problem is the base of the rubber. I had to get other rubber feet form an old device (monitor switcher) and it did the job.
FS series. Lost Rubber Feet Cost $45 each.
