I am interested on buying a high-end laptop and A417S is amazing, has almost everything, even tv tunner. Has a separated box for that with RCA, USB, parallel tv-in and others and you put the laptop over that box so as to connect them. I wonder if someone has this model or has already tested it with linux. I do not know if the external box uses specific driver under windows xp or if the laptops detects that hardware as if it were internal. I have been browsing "linux-on-laptops" and emperorlinux ( http://www.emperorlinux.com/mfgr/sony/).

The silvercomet S480 seems interesting (at emperorlinux)...

Can someone give some information about those notebooks?
