    Hi,
Like many other Sony owners up here, i'm suffering with the headset jack problem on my old FS630. Even when using speaker, i sometimes have to press the headset jack a little in order for the speaker to work. The possible solution I'm thinking of at this time is to get a PCMIA sound card, however, I'm not sure if the if the external sound card will fix the speaker problem (meaning I can use the laptop's speaker whenever i want without pressing on the headset jack).
Can someone with an external sound card help me to answer my question?
    Thank you
