Guys, I thought you guys might want to know this, Sony FS600 series are coming to town soon. Check out www.amazon.com and search for SONY FS640 and you will see. I don't exactly when the beast will be released though I heard that it should be out on the 10th of May. I have no idea how it differs from the FS500 series too, except the TV out port replicator.

    Peace out,
    -sd

We've been telling you guys this is coming ;)

It will also feature a 128MB video card option and a faster CPU.

The question is will it fix anything such as the buzzing screen or loud fan that i read some people have experienced.

Is it the 6600 this time around hopefully?

It'd be nice to have a higher res screen too, but I'd doubt they'd do that at this point in the game.

I don't know which card it is or if they've fixed the other issues. Sony has promised us one for review though, so we'll see.

It's really too early to be sure on either front. We will get one though and complete a full review.

In Japan at least, the FS does come with an option for SXGA+. I hope that makes its way over.

I'm anxious about this too. Ahinc.com told me they will have the product stocked on May 10th. So I hope we should be able to see it/the product announcement on Monday.

Thought you might find this interesting? It's from sony.co.uk and demos two new additions to the Vaio range including the FS215Z which I assume is the UK model code for one of the FS600 series?

Will be buying a FS115 in the next couple of weeks don't see the point in hanging off for a FS215 as I have no need for a docking station, nice as it looks, and the graphics appears to be the Go 6200 again going by what I turned up on Google.

Sorry about the last post, but being new, I'm still trying to get use to the functions. [:I]

    Anyway, Hi! [8D]

I need your help please. My office has allowed me to purchase a Sony on their budget (YES!), so I was about the get a FS115Z (UK version of the FS570, I think...see UK/Europe Sony website). However, today I see some new additions and it's confusing!

The FS215M looks exactly alike to the FS115Z.

The FS215S is cheaper, but has a 1.86GHz processor as opposed to 1.73GHz.

The FS215Z looks the same as FS115Z, but has a docking station...all for the same price!

What's the order of seniority here? I don't want to miss out. Please help?

    Chariot

    Let's Rock & Roll...

Several FS600 models are actually on the Best Buy site and listed as available for pickup in most stores, so I guess it's out already. Interesting that there's no announcement at sonystyle....
