Say if I have a 30" Monitor lying around the house, will I be able to use the screen to its native resolution (2560 x 1600) or will it only max out at 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1080 (1080p)?

If the video card supports it you will be. It's up to the video card alone, not your 30" monitor, not your laptop's resolution, etc.

I have a question to add on to that.

I am getting the HD 4570 in my new laptop and plan on doing hdmi out to my 1080p tv. Will the screen on my tv be clear or blurry?

    Thanks

I have the FW285 version - screen output is very nice. should be same for yours. Picture quality is excellent with the HDMI cable.

No, you willn't. A 2560x1600 monitor requierts a Dual Link graphic card. FW has a Single Link gpu.
