    do you know where is the difference between FW 290 and 190 . I know price ...but i think 290 is higher model than 190 .so where is the catch?

    I need to buy in few weeks new notebook , and i can't wait for new MBP...
    i am between SR,FW and NEW MBP .

    the 290 has the ati 3650 vs the ati 3470, and up to 8 gigs of ram (late october) and full 1920x1080 resolution screen. depends what you need the laptops for.

    i know , why 290 price is lower than 190 ?

    The catch is FW290 has higher resolution for the same screen size, so the font would be smaller. That is a turn off for some people like me.

    I'm pretty sure the 290 series is going to replace the 190 within a month or two.
