    FW Series Windows XP Pro Clean Install

    Has anyone done a clean install on a FW series with windows XP ?
    I boot from a XP Pro CD, have a USB floppy connected with the ICH9 drivers.

    After loading the drivers, install starts but then I get a blue screen.

    Any clue's or links on how to install XP on a FW series would be appreciated?

    It might be the cd that you are using, is it an original cd? Are you sure you have the right driver.
    I installed xp on the FW11M, and everything works exept the FN keys. If i am right somewhere in this forum there is a thread for rhis with drivers posted.

    I have similar machine than yours, I'm using a FW11S. From what I know the electronics is the same.

    Yes its a original xp pro cd. I now build a new cd with SP3 included.
    The blue screen is now gone, but it seems I'm missing the right driver for the sata controller, as the install doesn't see any hdd.

    Do you have a link to the right drivers by any chance ?

    Same problem here, crashes to a blue screen during the install using xp pro with sp2 or with sp3.
    Am using a FW21M. Anyone know the correct drivers to intergrate into the install?
