    Wrap the harddrive???

My mothers Medion was running very hot - 55°C or more on the harddrive - blew air through the vents and used a vacuum cleaner.
I removed a lot of dust.
Since then its at least 10°C cooler.
    My SZ is quite cool.

If your laptop is running very hot, then most likely your vents are clogged up with dust and you'll need to clean them out.

(Vacuum cleaner is not ideal as it spins the fan, creating a current, didn't brake anything for me yet though. To find out how to best clean the vents, do some reasarch in this forum)
