    FW series LCD screen broken, two questions

    1. Is there a dissassembly guide anywhere for the FW series, or instructions on how to tak the screen apart? I checked the sticky thread.

    2. Are the eBay vendors a reliable source for a new LCD screen, or would you guys recommend another seller for the screens? It's the 1600x900 resolution one, not the HD one.

    Paulius005, did you ever receive a reply? I need to access my lcd panel (to remove coffee stain inside screen) as well as replace a speaker. Would very much appreciate support on this as I couldn't find anything on the Web.

    Can't help you on disassembly but I've ordered panels from laptopscreen.com twice before and had fantastic experiences both times.

    i looked for disassembly guides before and all i remember was that it is extremely difficult because the hinges get in the way of accessing the bottom two screws
