    FW11 series laptops with vga-tv out

    Hi,

    I want to buy an FW11S or FW11ZU (FW series in US), but notice that it doesn't have s-video out, and only has hdmi out to a tv.

    My previous NR21Z didn't have s-video (or hdmi) either, but allowed tv-out via the vga port, so I was ok with that.


    My question is, does the FW11 series laptops allow tv out through the VGA port? I know I would need a vga-svideo adaptor cable, but they are cheap enough.

    I'd love to hear from anybody who knows. I don't have any HDMI enabled TV's, so would be stuck for TV output from an FW series laptop unless I can go to TV out via the VGA port.

    Hi,

    I have the FW11 and when i tried to connect laptop to a pc it would not work, it only seems to be from monitor to monitor.

    I maybe wrong but i could not get it to go.

    Do you mean you tried to connect the laptop to a tv via the vga port?
