    Has the FW290 model come out in the sonystyle shops? Anyone bought or heard it has come in stock? Because I am planning to buy that model soon..

    You mean their brick and mortar stores? I asked them and they said probably next month. When they have it on display, most likely that they will just show the one with ECO screen. I said this because I asked 3 stores and all FW100 series that they have on display use ECO screen.

    Oh.. I wanted to buy VGN-FW290JTB. So still not released? :( I asked cust rep online and he said it might be available in sonystyle stores. Will I be able to buy it in any stores before 20th Oct? Because I am travelling from US to India after 20th Oct.
    And ECO screen is good or bad?
