    Hello,

For other Sony Vaio notebooks there is SmartWi which can be used to control power of the devices (Bluetooth, WWAN, WiFi, etc). However, I can't find this on my new FW378J. The Sony drivers site doesn't list it either.

How can you control power on a FW? I want to turn off Bluetooth for example in order to conserve battery.

    Thanks!

you could always turn off bluetooth in the windows device manager.

There is also a mini-app someone made to control those using the devcon utility. It was made for the SR series and I think it works for the Z. It uses hardware specific id's and there is no way to reprogram it unless you know how to code in c#. It might be worth a try if you cant find smartWi. you'll need to read thru the entire thread and get the latest version, making sure to get either the correct x86 or x64 (64bit os) version.
