    FW390 Downgrade from Vista to XP?

    I've tried searching on how to do this. Every time I try and downgrade, it looks like it works then all of a sudden it goes to the blue screen that says something like windows will have to shut down to prevent blah blah...Im pretty sure you guys know which one it is. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    There are several threads on downgrading the FW to XP, sounds like your missing the SATA driver (in XP) so it blue screens when trying to load. Check the search feature on the forum there are some lengthy threads on this topic that should help you out

    so I searched and searched, still was not able to come up with any info on how I should go about doing this process. can anyone please guide me to successfully install xp on my sony vaio
