My FW490 arrived today and I'm planning on doing a clean install of either Windows 7 or Vista. But there's only drivers for 64bit.

Can anyone tell me where to find 32bit drivers for this model?

They don't exist in the U.S. because Sony has not contracted for that with Microsoft. And your upgrade to Windows 7 will be for the same bit version you had originally, as well, I believe.

http://www.notebookjournal.de/tests/sony-vaio-vgn-fw41-e-h-933 indicates that the European pre-configured FW4 Eco model comes with 32-bit Vista, so if you search Sony support sites in Europe, you should be good to go.
