FW490 T processor 4650 4hrs battery life?

The page says that it gets 4 hours on battery life is that true?

Notebookjournal.de in their stress tests got less than 2hrs battery life for this laptop.

The battery is rated a reasonable 53whr but the graphics card 4650 is quite powerful. I don't think that using power saver with wifi on and BT of and brightness say at 40% that you will hit 4hrs battery life. The SR gets around the 4hr mark using the above settings according to some owners and that has the same capacity battery but a smaller display and less powerful graphics card. Hopefully, some owners will chime in.

You can buy an extended battery also as well though.

 

i heard some of the fw series suffers from a lot of battery drainage when the laptop is off. Is this common with most vaios?
