I was a very unhappy owner of a Fz-180E sony Vaio and EVERY time I booted to windows vista finished by disappointment and frustration for me.
I was slow to boot, long to get ready and crashes and non responding programs all the time. Even firefox would not want to take me for a ride on the net and thats why I installed xp and was very happy with it (except for fn keys and power management)

Now After the release of service pack for vista All my problems were sudenlly fixed! But I advise all to wait for a final release and not the betas.
So here are few files that fixed my problems! Vista is running damn good and stable, pc boots damn fast and I have no problem at all using the laptop for hours non stop. I even start loving vista!

    Windows6.0-KB936710-x86
    Windows6.0-KB938194-x86

Ofcorse I did a Vista CLEAN install :)

Also one of my major problems was zonealarm security suite.
It sucks with vista and my patience got over with that.
    Kaspersky rocks on vista :)

AVG is also wonderful, if you ever need that knowledge.
