Why do Sony put GeForce 8600M GS for FZ UK model but not US model? The US model only comes with GeForce 8400M GT. Even the Japanese model only comes with 8400M GT. So I don't understand the logic of giving UK customers a special treatment. If there would be a special treatment, it is usually given to Japanese customers and not UK customers.

    Don't hate!

We get it so much worse normally, but you don't see me posting about it ;)

(How I paid $400 more for the system, in my sig, in the UK compared to US is just one example of millions)

Here in asia there is one FZ model which is FZ-28G which has the blueray and 8600M GS :D, but damn expensive. Also, in US i found no CR model with ATI graphics, while i found CR-13 and CR-25 which has an ATI X2300 graphic card. But if you compare the price of all other models like AR and SZ, it's much cheaper in the US.

So every region has some advantages and disadvantages eh? :p

Where did you see this info, on a seller's website or the official specs from Sony UK? They may have listed the specs wrong, maybe thats the reason.

They sell the FZ with 8600M GS in Australia as well. But only for the most expensive spec model which costs like AU$3399 (VGN-FZ28G). Not sure why its not in Japan/US

Seems to be so. Also, there is no FZ in Japan that comes with XBrite-eco screen, whereas majority of models in USA uses Xbrite-eco.

yeah, that is correct, but you can configure your computer to get XBrite-HiColor screen in the US. Also, there is an integrated graphic option for the FZ in the US, i don't know whether that configuration is still exist until now or not.
