    FZ-21m CPU Replacement

    Hi.Is there any guide or tutorial with pics to show how to replace the old processor T7250 of FZ21m with this one?

    Here there is a picture of the board disassembled.Same thread has detailed instructions on disassembly of the laptop, which is quite easy.

    The one on pink socket is CPU.
    Looks like it is Micro-FCPGA, so you can try to replace it with a newer one provided your BIOS knows about the new one. I would not change the CPU that was released after the laptop, as likely BIOS does not know it. I am looking at ones which where in the FZ lineup originally like T8500.
