Bought a new FZ11L yesterday and have put Vista Ultimate on it (needed for work). However, I can't find drivers for it ANYWHERE. Nothing at all is shown on Sony's UK support site, and while I got video drivers from LaptopVideoToGo, I'm short of a number of other things.

Sony's "driver pack" from the American website for the FX190 won't install, citing model incompatibilities. Is there somewhere else I should be looking before I set about the installer with UniExtract to get out the files inside?

    Cheers,

    David.

    Hi David,

The vaio uk website doesnt have it yet as tech support told me the FZ's are new models and they havent updated the site.

Anyway I believe you have to get the drivers off the VAIO Recovery tool that was pre loaded with your laptop.

If your vaio recovery too is not there after the vista update then. The other thing to do is maybe download the drivers on the US sites? Don't know if this will help or make things worse though.

    Sorry I can't help anymore.

    Good luck
