Hi, someone has one of these on ebay at the moment but advertised with a 160GB HD. According to the Sony site, this model comes with a 200GB. I emailed the seller to check, and he said that the system definitely has a 160GB drive. Does anyone know if the FZ11Z was ever built with 160GB HD or is this a possibly an error/scam on the part of the seller?

There are a lot of scams on the internet, my experience is that when it smells funny, it usually is. If it is a lot cheaper then it would be normally then i would be very careful. Can this person confirm any other specifications or provide some other documentation witch would help you identify the machine beforehand perhaps? Or is it used and did he replace the hdd himself?

He claims it's an ex-display model with 10 months warranty left. Buy Now price is currently 70% of new price. His feedback looks ok, some happy buyers but I also noticed some mutually withdrawn comments and one or two negative comments about missing cables etc. I asked about pickup and he says that's not possible. That made me suspicious. But he did say he can drop it round. So, I'm not sure.

Oh well, if he wants to drop it of this means you can inspect the machine before you pay for it, that sounds save enough to me. I'd give it a go if i were you, with 30% off you can always replace that hdd if you want to later.
