Hi, I live in the UK and will be getting an FZ from America.

I've heard that the drive can be locked to my region (england) so I can play region B movies.

Is is true? Can I really lock the drive to region B? If so how?

    THanks,

Yes, the drive is region coded to North America and it appears as though it can be changed. Mine says it has 4 changes remaining.

Just noticed that you asked how.

    1. Open windoze explorer.
    2. Right click on the DVD drive and then left click on Properties.
    3. Click the Hardware tab.
    4. Click the Matsu****a BD-MLT drive.
    5. Click the Properties button at the bottom.
    6. Click the DVD Region tab.
The available regions are in a list at the bottom. That's as far as I went.

(Things are easier in Vista, right? Oy vey.)
