I tried to burn 5 times (normal 700mb) audio cds today and each time after few minuts of writing it failes! :(
I am using verbatim cds that are working perfect in my desktop pc!
I was wondering if anyone has issues with cd writing on the machine?

Mine has trouble with a specific brand of DVD that works fine on other systems. So I would suggest trying a different brand CD.

Verbatim isn't exactly a quality brand. Have you tried Taiyo-Yuden CD-R? Also, have you tried burning at reduced writing speed?

thanks guys i will try other brand. I was just worried if there was a problem with the burner. After all a good burner should not be picky like this! If my cheep leton writer is able to do it why not the expensive sony one!?

Well I have had some of the 700mb verbatium discs laying around for about 3 years and just tested one by making a cd from an image file for some software I use at work for some of our high speed printers and it made the cd just fine without any errors at all. So I am not sure but I would suspect bad discs rather than the Bleuray drive, like some of the guys said in the thread this is very low quality media.
