    Hi,

All of a sudden my laptop has decided that the external monitor is a reason to crash. I've checked the event log and I get a whole load of this error as it crashes.

"The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."

I can boot up fine if I unplug the external monitor but as soon as I plug it back in it crashes.

I've got nVidia forceware 167.43 and a 8400m GT. There are lots of issues on the web relating to nVidia vista issues, all with various witchcraft like solutions. I hope someone on here has a fix relating specifically to the FZ190.

    Thanks

    B
