I have the web assistant enabled (see attachment). If I place my finger at the top of the pad in the center and move it left Internet Explorer goes back a page. If I go right it goes forward a page. So far so good. This works as it has on my last three laptops.

But there is one oddity, if I use it to go back a page it not only goes back to the previous page it also goes to the TOP of that page. If I don't use the "web assistant" and instead I actually click the Internet Explorer "back" button, IE goes back a page, but does not go to the top of the page. It leaves the page scrolled where it was when I last viewed it. It does this on almost all web sites I visit.

Has anyone else noticed this? It happens here on the forum, so you can easily test what I am talking about.

I love the Alps web assistant but this is a major annoyance. Suggestions welcome.

Well I don't have any solution for you, but I thank you for this info as I did not know this function exists, which is quite nice. BTW, mine act just like yours does.
