    Sony made that claim at one time, but with the release of the drivers you found on the website they backed away from that. Yes folks have done the downgrade with varying success. Use the search box at the top of the page here and type "FZ XP" without the quotes, you'll find a host of conversations on the topic.

    Known issues are the function keys and power management. The audio wpeaker/headphone switch was a problem as well but has been resolved as your search will show.
