Hi there. I've been reading ScuderiaConchiglia/Gary clean install guide in order to get a windows 7 clean install on my vgn260e. The thing is that, a while ago, I removed the 9 GB recovery partition. Also, I don't have any recovery disk WAU folder or anything like that...Would it be possible for someone to post an .iso of a recovery dvd or at least some files...

I managed to make most things run properly, like chipset, audio and most hardware by default with windows 7 drivers. Also I managed to make my 8400m gt run properly by using sony's vista drivers with no problem...but I still can not use f5 & f6 dimmer. Also my battery indicator says "no battery detected."

Is there a way to make those work without the recovery disk in my model?

PD. also, even though my touchpad drivers installed fine, there is no response from multi-touch stimulus...is there a way to solve this or is it that the touch pad itself does not have multi-touch capabilities?

I tried installing the utilities for Vista but I got quite a few fails during the install, and still, niether my battery or f5/f6 works...
