    Thinking about getting an external battery for the FZ290 that I just ordered. Can anyone who has one tell me the specs (Volts, Amps)? Thanks!

    Also, does anyone have any experience with batterygeeks? Their 118WH model for $179.99 seems like a much better option than the Sony Extended 9 cell battery (86.58 WH) for >$200.
