    FZ31 sata speed sandra says its 300gb?

    Hi

    Ive got a FZ31S vaio im looking for a 7200rpm hard disk. At the moment mine has a sony installed TOSHIBA mk2546gsx 250gb hard disk.

    Now sisoft sandra reports the controller as g2/300gb/s yet the drive is reported as a g1/150gb/s!

    My question is why is the drive reporting the drive as a 150gb/s when everywere I read TOSHIBA mk2546gsx is capable of 300gb/s?

    I looked at the jumper pins on the drive there are 4 pins with no jumpers intalled but toshiba dont provide info on the config!

    Is this controller caped or will it do 300?
