I have been using a FZ160E for some time for VOIP tasks, using a Plantronics Audio 910 bundle, this means the USB bluetooth adapter (my notebook did not have one) and the headset. The results were pretty good.
I have now changed into a FZ4000 where I have included an internal bluetooth adapter, so I could carry around one piece less of equipment. The results are very poor, and I only get a reasonable audio quality when I am no more than 1 foot away from the notebook. As soon as I start to separate myself from the notebook, the quality diminishes exponentially.
Is this related to the strengh of the radio signal ? Is there any way I can improve this ? Is anyone using a bluetooth headset paired with an internal Sony bluetooth adapter for VOIP with good results ? I would hate to carry again the USB bluetooth adapter. Help and/or feedback is appreciated
