    Hi Guys,

I've spended a whole day trying to find the solution for this problem, but no luck so far!

I've downgraded my FZ430E to Windows XP SP3. Installed all the drivers (after research) and everything is OK, except the FN F5/F6 for brightness. When pressed, I see the adjustment on the screen, but it does not work. The bars are full and even pressing to lower them, they don't move.

I've tried intalling/unistalling/installing Event Service, hotkeys utility, and so on.. but none worked.

I see that FZ430 is not very popular, as there's no good information about it on a google search.

    Anyone can help me out?

    Thanks!

Did you install the drivers in the correct order? and did you install the "Sony Utilities DLL"

I havent tried clean install XP but did with Vista and had problems with the hot key until I installed the sony drivers in the correct order, aka all the dependencies before the Event Service.
