I reformatted my computer, but for some reason now I cant reset it complete factory settings... only to previous restore points. Any way I can fully reset it to its original factory settings?

Did you just reformat, or did you repartition & wipe out the recovery partition? If you didn't delete the recovery partition, shut it off and then press the Assist button. It will boot VAIO Care Rescue from the recovery partition and from there you can do a factory restore.

If you deleted the recovery partition, then boot from the first of the recovery DVDs you burned. If you never made the recovery DVDs, shame on you. You may then need to order them from Sony.
