The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Factory restore, Did I lose restore partition?

    I'm trying to restore sony
    google tells me to F10 or F10+alt whatever, I get to VAIO recovery center and I do not see factory restore.
    I have, on left hand side, Hardware Diagonostics and Rescue Data(basically for making backups)

    Do you have the recovery discs? If so you can recover using those too.
    That's why it's always good to burn these discs, first thing when you get the Laptop.
