    Hello everyone,
I have ordered my f13 on 19th, and finally received it this afternoon. I got to say this laptop is built fast, and also shipped fast.
After using this laptop for a while, I have to say this is the laptop just I want. However, the fan noise is the peccadilo of it. the normal CPU temperature is about 50 Celsius, but the fan speed is 3000rpm(compare my macbook pro in the same fan speed, it is really loud noise), and when I try to play some games on it, the CPU temperature is about 60(I know it is quite normal temperture for CPU), but the fan speed get over 4200rpm! The sound is soooo loud.
Does anyone tell me what can I do to lower the fan speed(like updata something, or recommand a fan speed controller).
    Thanks

I think you need to be careful about trying to control your fan artificially. The fan runs fast when it needs to in order to keep the laptop from overheating. Overheating is much worse (for your computer) than a loud fan.

What you can do (these may or may not improve your fan volume enough for your liking) is try to reduce the causes of overheating, therefore requiring less cooling from the fan. There are two things I can think of - a laptop cooler and/or removing unnecessary processes running on your computer either through a clean install or other methods.

Doing a quick search, both of these have been discussed often in the F series owners' lounge so you should do a search and you will find lots of info there. Also, here is a link with some related info: F series Unification Post

It's best to leave the fan speed to whatever it is. After the Nvidia 8400/8600 debacle, they've been trying to keep more uniform temperatures. All of the uniform temperatures are ALWAYS going to be cooler than Apple. You can cook things on a MacBook Pro that's under any kind of stress. Believe me, I know. Uniform temperatures are better for the GPU than rapid heat-up and cool-down. So a fan that's constantly on is better than other outcomes....
