    Hello guys, how are you doing?

    Is it possible to upgrade the SZ440 PCI-E Ethernet Card from 100Mbps to a Gbit card?
    Did anybody suceed on this issue? I can't understand why this great NB isn't equipped with a Gbit LAN Ethernet Card...

    You cannot upgrade the chip, it's soldered into the motherboard.
    You can however use a Gigabit lan ExpressCard or PC Card.

    the SZ itself is not gigabit ethernet. the docking station, however, does have a port for gigabit ethernet.
