Might be trading in current Vaio (VGN-FW455D) for a better one.

I'm looking for the fastest one under $1000. Using it for high performance gaming and just about everything else.

The EB over the CW for power, perhaps an F series, unless its has the Nvidia 310 in it. In terms of power do you mean gaming power as opposed to CAD/editing/design power?

What specifications does your FW have exactly? As a upgrade may not infact be worth it.

Although the 5650 and 330 are probably faster than the 4650 the difference would be very little. Going to an icore processor may make a little difference but not that much. I would wait for the next line of GPUs to come out before upgrading.
