My DVD-RW drive says "Windows was unable to complete the format" (yes, I tried the hotfix) whenever I try to write anything to it. I concluded that the actual drive was to blame and decided to get it replaced. I then called Sony and something amazing happened.

They're sending a technician to my house.

Sony, the epitome of user hated support, is sending a licensed repairman to my house.

    And it's free. :)
