    Hi all,

    I bought a SA3 CTO.

However, I have two problems so far.

    1. Unknown USB device. Keeps flagging up especially coming out of standby.

    2. Resuming from standby, if you unplug mains the brightness of the screeen starts to slowly dim. Now this is not the same type of dimming you would expect from a power scheme but rather all the contrast and colours go dim. After a few minutes the full brightness returns.

I'm assuming this is a hardware faulty?

Should Sony replace with a new laptop or repair? It was delivered yesterday.

    Thanks
