So, my FW is in the shipping process, and i'm currently scrambling for

    a) Backpack for the laptop

    b) Sleeve to go inside the backpack

    c) Router

NO ideas on any of the above to be honest, all the backpacks i see kicking around are 15 inch, but with the FW being 16.4" i dont know what to look for other than 17 inch... i was thinking the sleeve would help with extra protection from the extra room of the 17 inch bag

Anyone know a good bag / sleeve for a FW ?

Also, i'm in the market for a router, but i have no idea what i should look for... linksy is kind of the only thing i've found here in canada but i dont know what to get... should i get a top of the line dual band N router ? OR?

Note.. i'm in canada and alot of the products on this site are for the states, hence my problem...

If anyone has any ideas on backpacks / routers, if its at all possible, can you please tell me what retailer / etc i can get these items from in canada :D

did some looking, but really, i dont want to buy a backpack before i know by someone who has some experience with them which sizes best fit the FW...

Since its a weird size, i dont want to order a backpack to be dissappointed in it

I'm using an Abbrazzio Apollo 17 inch sleeve ( www.abbrazzio.com), and the FW fits perfectly. I think the width of the FW is exactly the same as a normal 17 inch laptop, it's just the height that's a little smaller.

that is false. i just contacted sony and they said that the actual footprint of the notebook is actually like that of a 15.4 laptop (which was one of the deciding factors of my own purchase). the width is slightly wider than a 15.4 and the depth is a more or less the same..the only difference is that they cut the frame around the screen to create a bigger screen =)

I think the 17' one will fit better. I was in Sony store and they have those nice hard cushion casing with vaio label for laptops. There is no way a FW can fit in the 15' one...
