Okay, so I was able to get a Vaio NW from Black Friday, and I love it, but just had a few questions about it. So it has 4GB of RAM installed and it has Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit installed, but when I view the properties it saying only 3.84GB usable? Is there something I have to change to make it use all the 4GB?

Also, is there a program or some way to see what kind of wifi card I have installed? I was pretty sure it was a b/g card, but then I read elsewhere that someone had the same laptop but it had a b/g/n card? The bottom of the laptop doesn't label what card it is, and the bottom covers, only expose the HDD, and the RAM.

So if anyone could help me out with this, I would really appreciate it!

    My Laptop is a VGN-NW265F

    Thanks

No. This is normal. You are viewing the total "usable amount" after your OS has been accessed; check what your BIOS reports before going into windows. Your machine uses some of this (actually negligible) memory for different reasons, in different ways. If you're curious...

Go to Device Manager; view; Resources by connection; Expand the Memory branch out (probably through the Action tab...).

Many of your questions can be answered by viewing an audit of your system: http://www.belarc.com/
