Hi, I have Sony FW190. I had been searching all over the net and FW190 was the only laptop in the world that meets my requirement. So, if it breaks, it will be unlikely that I would find a replacement.

This laptop has 1600x900 HiColor Screen. Sony has discontinued it. They don't make it anymore. Later FW models have either 1600x900 ECO Screen or 1920x1080 HiColor Screen. Neither screen is desirable.

I am a bit concerned with the screen. Right now, it is fine but what if the screen starts loosing its brightness like my older Sony laptop? 1 to 2 years from now, how likely am I going to be able to find an exact part replacement for a what would be a 2 to 3 year old laptop?
And how do I find the part number without opening the screen? Device Manager doesn't say anything about model number.

How easy is it to replace the screen without leaving a mark on the frame and without destroying the rubber feet?
